Nah man, the area leading up to the Elite 4 and Victory Road.
Lots of trainers, a healing house, higher levels and no exploding Geodudes or Gravelers

But you cannot get there until you have the eighth badge. A catch 22 if you will. Victory Road in HG/SS was the weakest part, only good for levelling up Water, fighting and Grass pokemon really, with all the Graveller's and Ursaring's and no trainers.

So the official release date is the 10th for Black and White, Kmart/Big W just have it in this weeks catalogue for $47 or so, which match up well...

-edit- And Victini will be available until April 28th via wireless connection or an instore visit to TRU/Gamesmen/EBGames.

Whoops, thought mis-read thought he was having problems with the E4.
But the route before the Victory Road is good after that.

Beautiful. I was looking at getting it from Target with a pre-order (could still do it tomorrow) because you get a bonus Pokemon Black/White carry case. Price is still $60 though, so I could do without the case and save a few bucks.

Was going to post about Victini too. A shame I missed out on the Shiny Entei/Raikou/Suicune. They were available during the time I moved house and everything was packed, so their goes my chance to get Zoroark.

Started a Pokémon thread to continue the talk about that game

I played some of Marvel vs Capcom 3 at JB today. Is the game actually kinda easy? This is the second time I've played in store and I've found it pretty easy to win rounds with just one character (mostly as I keep forgetting how to switch keep to my backups). I wonder if the store (or someone playing in store) has lowered the difficulty or by default it's just an easier game? Certainly much easier than Super Street Fighter IV.

Well, they streamlined the controls with just the three attacks, and there is a normal contol mode and a newbie control mode that whips out combos easily. As for the difficulty being turned down, I would probably say that it was. The easiest way to tell is to stand still. The easy mode rarely has the enemy attack at all.

I usually find a lot of my matches end in the old 'time out' on normal setting... I need to get more aggressive.

After playing hours of MvC3 I would have to say that the game is probably on an easier setting in the store, maybe easy or medium difficulty. I am horrendously bad at the game, yet on those two difficulties I can usually win with only really using one character (bar the final battle), however on Hard I got owned.

It is simplified from what I can remember of the first two games, and even Capcom vs Xmen and Capcom vs Tatsunoko are more challenging to me, but as I said, I am terrible at these games.

Glad I didnt buy it, it's fun to play every now and again, but the lack of anything more than some still screens after a victory is just lame.

Next time I play instore I'll check the options. I want to buy the game but not until it's on sale in a few months. Hiring it from the Video Store over the upcoming long weekend might be a good way to get my fix while I wait.
