And one I'm still yet to add to my collection, along with the Doom 3 novelizations.

Have a geeze at BookDepository, I'm dead sure you'll find both the 3rd and 4th books there at a way reduced cost; I own the 1st 2 as they're based on Doom: Ultimate & Doom 2: Hell on Earth respectively, the 3rd and 4th aren't bound to any game and go off on their own tangent or so I've read.

Pleases me greatly that someone else is willing to pick these up, I'm pretty lonely in my Original Doom Fanboy status.
Oh man I love Doom too but recently my friend showed me Skulltag Doom and we played on the Brutal Servers. Check out what it looks like here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLKZhu_dgxA So damn cool!!!

    Resident Evil 6 Official Trailer

Absolutely mind blowing. I still prefer the slower paced survival horror style of RE1-3 but man, this looks like a damn good apology for RE5!!

Well, it's another nail in the coffin of traditional survival horror games, and certainly isn't what I'd call a Resident Evil game, but it will hopefully be as good an action game as RE4. As fantastic as the trailer looks, I have to ask the question: Do we really need more Gears of War style action games?

With Resident Evil taking its all-action approach, and the Silent Hill franchise constantly being farmed out to companies who have absolutely no clue what Silent Hill is about, I can't help but feel a bit deflated about the once fantastic slow-paced survival horror genre. Dead Space you say? They're action games!

Ah well, that's enough ranting from Grandpa. Time to load up epsxe and replay the original Silent Hill in preparation for the Silent Hill 2 & 3 HD Collection (out next month!). Vulnerability, atmosphere, lack of weapons and ammo, involving story, suspense, spooky camera angles! This is what it's about.

Yep . I'll be getting that one.
I did like the RE1 re-make on gamecube. few extra maps and side stories. I'll have to try and find me a copy of 2 and 3, haven't played em for years.

Damn straight, the RE-make was bloody fantastic! That is the kind of Resident Evil I wish Capcom would stick to, tank controls, claustrophobic camera angles and all. Imagine if they did a similar remake for RE2.

That's disappointing. I was looking forward to buying Skyward Sword and even 'built' myself a Wii to play it...Oh well.

Any good game recommendations for the Wii?
