I never understood why some kids enjoyed trashing their toys, but trashing your own toys is one thing... what's worse is trashing other people's toys! Almost all my broken childhood toys were broken by other kids, not by me!
    e.g.:
+ G1 Bluestreak: got sat on
    + Shackwave: got stepped on
+ G1 Mirage: lent it to someone, was returned in two halves.
+ Apeface: lent it to someone, the beast mode's headmaster "clip" was damaged (it still works, but I gotta be careful)
+ G1 1985 Long Haul: lent it to a kid at school. Returned it in bits and pieces! (claims that his mum got mad that he borrowed someone else's toy so she smashed it. Yeah, I didn't believe it either).
...and the list goes on and on.

MABUHAY and welcome to the forum! Good luck with the restorations. A times when you get to finish restoring a piece back to its former glory ( or mebbe something acceptaby near to it) it becomes a more sentimental toy than it already is. Enjoy the forum!

His mum was Greek. I never met her though, so I dunno if she was a nut case. More likely he broke it and made up a feeble excuse. (at least I hope so...)
