    Peter Steele from Type O Negative is apparentley died of Heart Failure. I hope this is just one of their silly pranks again

    Wow, I hope he's not

    What's really weird is that I only just dug out some of their old stuff 2 days ago to listen to.

    They have played a joke like this before, I doubt they would do it again.

    I recentley dug out their cds as well and was listening to them all one after the other for the last few weeks at work. Over and over lol. Their earlier stuff (off October Rust and World Coming Down, ok not that early but still ) got me through some hard times. Would be a real shame if he has shed his mortal coil, I always hoped they would tour Australia.

    This is indeed bad news if true. Though I'm not heavily into Type-O-Negative I do like the song Electrocute.

    At any rate, Metal doesn't need another of it's legends passing, though I suppose that age catches us all in the end.
