Forget about not-KFC, Smiths and KFC have teamed up to created Zinger-flavoured chips. I will try these.
It is amusing that an article for a pack of chips is on a website called "goodfood".
My condolences.
There are far better food joints around. KFC were last good in the 90's. Their chips were the best, the chicken was yummy. When you asked for extra seasoning, mate, you got extra seasoning. Now it's bland, soggy and you ask for extra seasoning, you're lucky they even put any on at all. Popcorn chicken was pretty good, but I tried some again a couple of months ago, didn't really taste like anything.
I go red rooster every Wednesday as my tuckshop day.Right next door to work, well, just have to cross Zillmere road, but close enough.
The ripper is so good. Get a bacon and cheese, minus the cheese and it's chicken and bacon paradise.
Plus the bread rolls they use are so good.

This was part of my Fathers Day gifts:
Gotta admit, I've developed a bit of a taste for Hot Sauce, I'm afraid I'll end up like Lister on Red Dwarf and end up putting it on my breakfast cereal
So far I've tried the Australian "My Outback is Burning" on nacho's and the Egyptian "Fire Scarab Sauce" on some rich beefy mince and both were pretty good. Any suggestions what foods to dry the green sauces on?
