Down my way 5FDP, EB is absolutely horrible for that but the JB stores are actually pretty well on top of things - most of the time.

I myself wouldn't hold any of the stores to their word on the release date, especially if EB pulls it's usual stunt of breaking games embargo date to try and get a jump on the competition - I don't know why they do though because their prices are bloody highway robbery!.

I posted this in another thread, but this one may be more appropriate:

Has anyone found a place to pick this up for the PC? All I've found so far is playasia:

And I'm not sure what US version means. Does it mean it's a region 1 dvd, or does it just mean it's in english. Anyone purchased from them before?

    Price seems good though.

I spoke to Gamesmen in Penrith yesterday, asking them about the PC version of the game. They said it appears that the PC version will not be released in this country. So looks like I will be importing it as well.

Anyone know where I can get it cheapest?

PC games don't have region encoding. It just means it's in english.

This is out on pre-order at the EB Games website:

    http://ebgames.com.au/ps3-150173-Tra...-PlayStation-3http://ebgames.com.au/ps3-150173-Tra...-PlayStation-3

I have linked the PS3 version. But do a search and you'll find the Wii, Xbox and DS pre-orders too.

The release date is noted as: 23 June this year.

Who knows, from what he said, it had something to do with the distributors. No wonder why EB didn't know anything about it (they are pretty useless at times anyway) it was only when I pointed out in the Game Informer mag they had on sale that it said WFC is being released on PC.

All I know is, they have lost a sale from me.

Not out because the distributor doesn't think it would sell and/or retailers here weren't willing to carry it in enough numbers to make the effort worthwhile.

PC gaming is, unfortunately, in a serious downturn, and this is a very consoley game as far as primary target audience is concerned.

I suggest getting a PS3 or one of upcoming new 360/soon-to-be price dropped older model 360s if you're gonna be playing this game online.
