What's a 'Gobot'
+ "Gobots" is the name of a G2 Aquaspeeder. The toy itself is a repaint of G1.5 Jetstorm.
+ A G2 sub-group of Transformers with free-spinning axles and are compatible with Hot Wheels play sets (e.g. launchers). They were later repainted as Spychangers for Car Robot/RiD.
+ A line of PlaySkool Transformers aimed at pre-schoolers. Also known as "Big Adventures Transformers". They had a really crappy cartoon series too! (with the most unimaginably annoying can't-get-it-out-of-your-head theme songs ever)
+ A race of cybernetic technomorphs from another dimension (from a planet in said dimension called Gobotron). They were originally a race of organic beings who evolved into transforming mechanoids (but still retain organic brains). This universe was unwittingly destroyed by Megatron and some surviving GoBots fled to the Transformers' universe and rebuilt themselves as Cybertronians. Oh yeah, they also had a crappy cartoon (and a _really_ crap movie - note: this movie was released in cinemas in 1986 to compete with Transformers The Movie!).
