Ooh!, some nice items in that lot Sharky, congrats!

I sold my BW Laserbeak ages ago thinking it was just another Fox Kids Repaint of the BW Terrorsaur mold, oh how I've learnt since.

Is it just me, or are the BM Vehicons some of the weirdest designed figures that HasTakTom have ever produced?

i think beast machines in general had some bizzar designs and autocon, the movie figs you posted has not arrived yet but there was a parcel pick up card in the letter box, so that at a guess could be the stuff waiting.

Motorcycle Drone is quite show-accurate, so he does look quite Beast Machines. I don't think he looks movieverse at all really. Unlike Thrust and Tankor, the Motorcycle Drone and Tank Drone figures were created _after_ the show was made, thus are more show-like than their General counterparts.

Indeed they did... but the Vehicons weren't quite as bizarre as the Maximals, and consequently tended to sell better than the Maximals (at least in my observation). Of course, Motorcycle Drone (as well as the entire Battle For The Spark line) never came out in Australia.

While the Vehicons' vehicle modes were highly stylised, you could recognise what they were. You look at Motorcycle Drone and you know it's a motorcycle (albeit scifiesque). The problem with a lot of the Maximals was that you'd look at the toys' alt mode and think, "What the <expletive> is that?!?" Silverbolt's a classic example. Technorganic condor my waste disposal unit!

It sucks because the design for Silverbolt on the show is really cool. =/

Back on topic: got the challenge for cybertron 3-pack from RobotKingdom. Can't wait to open it up tonight.

I don't Blame you Sharky, I share Goki's and your disdain for that horrible, horrible figure/mold/character design.

I mean, how could you go from this; Attachment 2441 to this: Attachment 2442 ???
