utorrent question
anyone here utorrent? lately it has seriously been lagging. I havent changed the settings or anything. I have the latest version of it and its fine without any downloands but once i start to download soemthing the program it self lags and takes like 20secs me for to say pause a torrent or continue a download. I tried to search on the net but not sure what this is caused by. I have the latest updates for both spybot and mcaffe. i tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it has the same problem. please help me if u can thanks!!!!

Utorrent is what I use and I think I have the latest.
I haven't noticed any issues with mine of late though. Hrrrmm, Maybe whip up the task manager and see how much juice things are using when you crank it up? Perhaps something goes into overdrive.
I had that when I put daemon tools on my little laptop. After installing it, after boot up it would slow down, turns out since it was set (by default) to start up from the start up files, it was using about 50% of my little comp's resources.

Can't say I've noticed much, I tend to find though that most Bitorrent issues tend to be Torrent specific - What, with the nature of Seeder:Leecher Ratios and all.

no problems with utorrent for me either.
only thing i noticed is that i cant max out my speeds at certain times during the day, no matter how many seeds/peers i get.
maybe you have some other software running in the back like peerguardian or some AV software that affects it?
