I wont lie and say that I'm sorry to see him resign (I'm not suggesting anyone else is, this is just IMO).

Indeed he has had quite a career with this current affairs program and had the privilege to interview quite a number of note-worthy guests.

It's my personal view though, that when interviewing those that serve in public service, say governments of all levels, that he tends to lose his 'objectiveness' and 'neutrality' quite substantially and visibly and for that I really wont miss him.

That being said, I hope that the next step in his career is a successful one and brings on new challenges.
