Issues 1 - 19 of the original Marvel series, all in NM condition The best bit was that no one was watching the auction so I got them all for the listed price of US $9.99 which equated to approx. AU $9.90

    TR Astrotrain, Skullsmasher, & Hardhead

That's a nice buy - much better condition than my over-read, tattered childhood copies - and you paid less than I (or my parents) paid for them back in the eighties!

Nice one there Big Penney, might I enquire as to the price of the Visual Works book?

Oh Man that's a sweet Haul!
Congrats 5FDP, it's good to see that on the odd occasion, those awesome eBay deals that everyone hears about but never enjoys themselves - still occasionally happen.

With EMS I think it ended up being about $55 so just for the book about $30 give or take depending on the exchange rate.

    Hazaa!
My acquisition today is the first and last figure that I'll ever purchase of this line, as the character, in my view, is the only one worth owning.

Transformers: Animated (Deluxe Class) Decepticon Soundwave with Laserbeak - courtesy of eBay AU.

I'm really diggin' this figure, for an Animated figure it invokes the essences of Soundwave really well and I dig Laserbeak as a Guitar as it's a really intuitive and creative adaptation of the character and his relationship to Soundwave.
I must agree with Dirge's Review though, as his hands leave a lot to be desired, though the well placed use of peg holes sort of 'Band-Aids' the issue.

It is a very good book if you like TF art of the kind in the later sections of TF: Generations. I might add that stores in Japan sell that book for AU$56-60 if you buy there and then. For AU$30, it'd be very worth it if you can press shipping down some.
