    Crazy-great haul, Fatbot!
    That Manenna is awesome too. Too bad that Mattel didn't go ahead with the line as that sculpt could have been articulated.

    Amazingly, I actually managed to track down the now 'ultra' rare Henkei figures of Rodimus and Cyclonus! I'm pretty amazed at this turn of events.

    Now I have something for the upcoming Protector amour to wear... woot!

    Hot Rod = HKD$450 (approx AU$58)
    Cyclonus = HKD$299 (approx AU$38.30)

    Lots of hard work, I kid you not. In many cases, I had to convince shop-owners that they should sell to me because the pieces I'm after are the 'not for sale' type, at first.

    hahaha... that would be nice, a TF museum.

    Actually, they were of the 'permanent display' variaety. Had to convince owners to dig through layers of toys to the display cabinet (just bearing in mind how small and compact and dense a HK toy shop would be) and because they are on display and obviously not priced, we have to there and then negotiated a price with me trying to come up with something so that the owner won't feel I'm trying to have him/her on and buy something he/she would otherwise be able to sell at a higher price... and half way through negotiating they would discover from my Cantonese that I am not native to HK and ask whether I am a 'dealer' from Singapore who will bring it back to Singapore to sell at twice the price (cos that is what people ordinarily do)... and... and... you get the idea.
