Well considering old school planes used to have 2 at the front and 1 at the back, I think he could manage

Has taken a few of us by suprise. I like how well he stands next to Cyclonus and Galvatron as well. Can't wait to get him.

Ha! both of you are spot on!

In this case I'm almost certain that the center wheel should be mounted towards the front end of the fuselage because, as 1AZRAEL1 referenced, Scourge doesn't have a 'front and center' mounted prop and engine.

    Here's an example:

Sorry for the size of the pics.
But yeah, as a 'Flying Wing' I have to agree with Kup that it is a bit odd but as Kup also said, it's a very minor pick at an extraordinary figure!

I think you guys are way too picky! Lol

It's a toy based upon a fictional aircraft to start with, so whether the landing gear placement makes it difficult to take off or land serves no real relevance - it's a non-existent aircraft, it's all fictional!

It's a great toy... that is all that needs to be said.

    Indeed, you're dead-right Vector,
I myself have a quibble with it though as it may cause the Alt mode to not display correctly, i.e. because the central landing gear is too tall and too far back it pushes it over?
That's just a hypothetical but yeah, at the end of the day this figure kicks a shitload of skid-plate!

OMG! G1 Trypticon has wheels on his tail, that's not where real tyrannosauruses had wheels! No one had even invented the wheel when tyrannosauruses were around! And if they had wheels on their tails they would have rolled backwards when they tried to sit down! Stupid Hasblow failed again!

i think they're over-analyzing things too considering this is a Transformer, which typically dont do normal aircraft takeoffs/landings.

    for example g1 ending - 19 secs in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AepP9yAyrmo
