Just seen a review for these - distinctly unimpressed.

For me they were actually better than expected but it seems that FR couldn't transform one of the robots properly for some reason and that's what caused some instability, the other two robots were fine.

The biggest shocker would probably be the size but I was fully expecting that since the Shadow Warrior mold is pretty small.

My issue was that basically its just three little robots that transform into cubes.

Then you plug the cubes together and stick on accessories until it looks something like a camera.

That's not a lot of bang for the buck they're asking

The toy that became reflector was made ~30 years ago, as such I don't find such comparisons useful.

It's like comparing MP Prime or RotF Leader Prime to the original Optimus Prime toy.

A useless comparison like "the original Optimus Prime toy is enjoyable to transform back and forth and RotF leader Prime is not".

I was merely highlighting the fact that 3 bots turning into blocks isn't a new thing is all, but each to their own - I just think these are better than a retooled Perceptor but obviously that isn't an option for Official Only collectors huh?
I reckon they do a decent job of paying homage to the original figures as well as incorporating a degree of cartoon likeness - They're better then a Shell-former anyway, IMO.
