Also, it is supposed to have a light up visor.
Looks good next to Silverbolt.
As I don't own Darkwind, this doesn't interest me.
oooh, will there be a part to combine Darkwind with Botcon Dreadwing?
Which..I don't own...and will probably be even more expensive then...
Nevermind.
I'm getting this for sure. I've been waiting for a 3rd party kit to do something to differentiate Darkwing from Silverbolt. Really looking forward to seeing what Venksta can come up with for the weapons and not-Throttle too.
Now if I can just get him to do a new head/weapons for Dragstrip.
I got it and here it is!
Before..
After!
G1 Comparison
The eye lighting still works and it's even brighter than before!
That looks much much better kup, from where and how much, may I ask?

Yeah it's pretty cool.
I got it from Renderform which is a small Garage kit company run by one person, Venksta. Only Venksta sells the kits through his site but they are not always available as he sells them through limited 'ordering' windows before production. Since this is a 'one man show', Venksta probably does this to know for sure how many to produce to limit his losses.
When one of his projects is ready for production, he opens up orders for it. As it is a private 'garage' organisation, this process is slow but you are always dealing directly with the person making the kit.
Unfortunately the release window for this kit (RF-005) closed a couple of months ago. Rencently he was taking orders RF-006 kit (Goldbug) but it has recently closed
The quality is pretty decent for a Garage kit. I would say that it matches Hasbro's at the very least. Even the plastic used seems similar.
However note that due to the 'Garage' nature of Renderform releases, they are fairly pricey for what they are.
The new head looks good. Shame about the rest of it!![]()
