He's meant to be an update of G1 (1984) Thundercracker, not Armada. He originally had a black face but had a white/silver face in the cartoon and several other subsequent incarnations (e.g. BotCon, Gentei, Robot Masters). Otherwise if you really want him to have a red face, show him images of his Action Master figure.

Well ...... FINAALLY!! I like the wing highlight design, classy looking. Hope this ones gun launchers fit well - the Gentei one I had to sock in some blutack to keep in place.
