February Acquisitions

Today, courtesy of Skullcruncher, a couple of G1 weapons I needed have arrived:

-Flattop's Guns (2x Aircraft Carrier Cannons)
-Slag's Missile Launcher
-Grimlock's 2x Missiles
-Topspin's gun
-A Seeker Landing Gear (For Starscream)

I've decided only to tak a photo of the most sort after items of the lot, namely Flattop's 2x Guns, completing this little fellah.

My Local K-mart had a sparse number of RTS Wave 2 on the shelf, and I Picked myself up a Wreck-Gar as he was the last one, whereas there two each of Bumblebee, Perceptor and G2 Prime.

Wreck-Gar is neat. So glad we're getting a lot of Series Three Characters now. Bring on Arcee!!

Curious, how would you rate the quality of the KO?

very low.

I dont have the FP authentic but the KO I got has loose hinges, visible stress marks and a partly snapped hinge for the gun and a popped "rivet" on the torso. Also there was the white fume residue left over from superglue use on one piece.

Oh and the inside piece of one of the shoulder stacks has the piece from the opposite shoulder by mistake. Normally the piece slides over NP's true shoulder and theres a raised portion that slots into the screw recess on the back but since the part is from the wrong shoulder the raised portion faces the front where theres no plug and is only held in place by the plastics gripping action rather than fixed in position.

Now mine was Second hand so alot of this could be the result of use rather than out of the box QC...... Im still very happy with the kit overall and knowing i could never have justified the Authentic at $250-$300 ish i can deal with these faults as the trade off but im not as picky as most other fans seem to be about such things......

The fig still looks flawlessly Boss in both modes but when switching its obvious its a KO..... I'll probably get the Prime armor as KO but since City Commander is the flagship version I''l have to get the proper FP one for him.

hehe il take a closer photo in IMO his actually better looking than henkei and classics version

oh yeah nice spot its actually from fansproject trailer for prime, it supposed to be for henkei grimlock thought it looks cooler with jazz

United Jazz and Tracks Thank you Hasbro for not releasing them here and forcing me to buy the far superior United versions

Oh, and if anyone attending the Parra Fair has a MOSC United Tracks that they would like to swap for another (the plastic bubble on mine has a slight scratch) that would be awesome. Yeah, I know... I'm special
