See, where as I find the the opposite.
I think I tend to gravitate towards Peaugh more because I statrted watching his reviews first, whereas I prefer Vangelus and Thew's reviews because of the entertainment factor - But indeed, Peaugh definitely does seem more 'matter of fact' with this video review in particular.

The trailer is actually the most focused part of the toy! Despite it's simplicity (G1) it's effective and the little touches like the gun attachment and weapons storage was very thoughtful.

It's no G3 or Protector trailer but it's not supposed to be, it's just representing the G1 trailer in an upscale MP design.

Yeh IMO it would be terribly disappointing to see the trailer go in the Hasbro release.

What's intriguing is that a lot of the negative feedback is related to the trailer; that the $200 pricetag isn't justifiable for a problem plagued "Masterpiece"...but then again isn't MP9 essentially two MP's in one?

I suppose it might be best to wait for the Hasbro version and compare the two. Still getting the Jap one though. Rodddddy!

    No not really.

Yeah this. The differences between Hot Rod and Rodimus are so minor that unless you know what to look for you wouldn't be able to pick them up unless you studied them side by side.

basically, you switch his face, and lower his leg-hip joints to make him taller. its basically crap.

Rodimus' alt mode is Hot Rod backwards with a 'shell' attachment (stored beneath the trailer) which fits over his legs/rear.

I'm not sure what people were after with the Rodimus Prime robot transformation? The difference is negligible yeah, but what did you want them to do, make his legs so long that he'd be totally out of proportion?

Although the differences between the Rodimus and Hotrod modes are minimal, I believe it to be effective and nifty enough despite it's simplicity. It's one of the more effective features of the figure and given the rest of the design, that's appreciated.
