$500 inc. Batman? That is a bloody bargain! A couple of things I didn't notice straight away that might be of help to you:

    1. The PS3 gyro thingy can be using to control batman mid-flight as well as to control the batarang n shake off certain enemies (reading the manual actually helps sometimes >_<). You can obviously do these things with the normal controls but it's a bitta fun.

    2. Quite a few movies can be seen in the video section on the PS3 menu (not in the actual game - I don't think so anyways ).

Only crap thing about the PS3 version of Arkham Asylum is it only runs in 720p. Can someone confirm if this is the case with the 360 version as well or can it run in 1080p?

Other PS3 exclusives I can't recommend enough are:

    1. Uncharted
    2. Little Big Planet
    3. Killzone 2
    4. Resistance (awesome co-op too, the sequel omits this feature and suffers for it - well, it actually does have a co-op mode but it's not the main campaign :/)
    5. Flower (DLC)

I also picked up this awesome deal and sold my old 60 GB PS3 to cover it...

Totally awesome deal. Still playing through Fallout 3 so I haven't tried Batman yet but I loved the demo.

I would also recommend Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

llama, how different does the new slim console feel in person, compared to your old 60 GB?

I guess the main difference is that the power and eject buttons are now click buttons instead of those pressure/conducting ones they had on the 60 gb. The unit looks a lot nicer and is a lot smaller.

Havent played Ninja Gaiden since the cool NES version! I took SFIV online on my mates and got my a$$ handed to me... I had been playing the Saturn version of various SF Zero's and i keep playing IV with same control as Zeros. In case anyone is wondering, there is a bit of diference in button timeing for the moves. Taking me a while to get the hang of it..

I thought it was a good bargain too. Thanks for the Bat tips!

I have a question though, using TF ROTF as an example, the box says on the back that it plays at 720p, 1080i and 1080p. My telly handles all 3 fine, and the PS3 menu screen is running in 1080p, but when I whip up TF, it flicks back to 720. Anyone know whats up with that? The only way I have found to make the game play in 1080p is to tell the ps3 that my telly ONLY accepts 1080p.

I also have ghostbusters and that automatically runs in 1080p..... Its fun too.

I wanna check out that Flower game. Looks interesting. I also Dled a demo of Bionic Commando, which was the old NES gam with nicer graphics. Fun! Migh have to get that too! AAARrrgh its wii shop all over again..

Hmm, maybe it doesn't think bad games deserve to run in 1080p? Just kidding, that is a bit strange though, almost as if the box is telling porkies. I know I had to change a system setting to get the PS3 to unscale DVD's to 1080p but I'm not sure if this setting had anything to do with the games.

I have Bionic Commando, it controls very nicely on the PS3 and as you say is great fun (especially co-op). Keep an eye out for a DLC game called 'Trine' also, it's meant to be a modern take on Blizzards Lost Vikings game whereby you use 3 characters with different attributes to overcome adversaries/obstacles. Should be amazatron.

Hit me up for a SF4 session!! So far no one on this forum has replied to any of my calls for challenges for both MVC2 and SF4!!

I also recommend NGS but a word of warning - it can get frustratingly hard!!
If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you
