I think one way would be by actually having them inside the seat. A specially constructed seat back could be worn and they sit on the car seat (or attached to it to prevent movement) crouching down enough to resemble (from the outside) an empty seat.

When I was a little kid I assumed that KITT was radio controlled, but now that I think about it, I don't think I ever had any evidence or reason to assume this. And now when I think about it, it wouldn't it probably be stunt drivers? I can't imagine someone driving a Concept Camaro on two wheels via radio control.

That Radio Controlled car comment, made me think of that "Mythbusters" stunt that went wrong.

It's the Decepticon Protoform warrior who had his head blown off by NEST forces. If you look at his upper right arm you can see "T-1000" tattooed on it. Apparently it's because ROTF and Terminator Salvation were having their CGI SFX rendered right next door to each other at ILM so Michael Bay wanted to put in a small nod to that movie. I wanna see Terminator Salvation now!

I have the same problem, as do most people I reckon. I think the only other way is to take it apart and putting in a stronger spring (wherever it is) Failing that, I use blue tack
