Yeah, I must admit that was the only place I did read that. There may other sources since I was only looking for info on direct comparison of legit reissue 6shot vs G1 6shot, not anything specific on chinese variants etc.

i have 5 original sixshots and 1 reissue. originals say "Japan", reissue version says "China"

i have some constructicons in legitimate looking card backing, with rubsigns and manufacture stamps, but the country has been blacked out and the plastic looks like a much newer kind of plastic which made me question its authenticity.

How recently did you get them? Are they packaged? The factory applied stickers would also give a clue.

Lost of people dont realise all the classic g1 reissues - those ones in the dirty brown boxes/cards have their countrys covered as well.

Nearly all the springers that have been on ebay in the last year have been classics.....

I bought them mint, loose, complete on cardbacking recently but they belonged to someone else for quite a while now. the card backing looks proper with numbers on the sides but that doesnt mean that someone has not taken a KO and put it in an original backing card. hopefully its a "classics" chinese reissue. I'm gonna keep them anyways but it would be good to know for sure.

on another topic, i have 2 transformers Overlords. 1 Made in japan bought from japan. 1 made in Thailand bought from Europe.
since i have not seen a transformer toy produced from Thailand before, can someone with a European hasbro (not japanese takara) Overlord please check for me what their stamp says?

i know rampagesss has a euro overlord...maybe he can help?

If I recall correctly, you have to go through a series of initiation rituals and hazing. It begins with being blindfolded and tied up on the ground while being rammed and trampled by Sky Lynxes, Trypticons and Omega Supremes. And it culminates in a tattoo of the Ozformers logo on your backside.

(I've heard that another option may be just being an active Transfan on the forum for a while and seeing if something happens. But I don't know if that's true.)
