His voice and unique concept maybe deserve a place in the Hall over a transforming dinosaur which I guess is a bit outside the "blend in with the humans" motif of early G1.

All true,as a character he sure is dull though. But hey it worked for Boba Fett, and all he ever did was look and sound cool and then get killed by a blind man.

Why so?

If it's why Dinobot is there, it's because he's popular. Not only that, he was one of the most complex and well-written characters in all of Transformerdom, if not THE most. Also, he pretty much single-handedly ensured that there WOULD be a G1 canon.

When this was first announced I was going to vote for Soundwave but as soon as Dinobot was put up for nomination there was no way I could vote against him.
