Default Hall of Fame voting begins - and the nominees are...

    SOUNDWAVE
    GRIMLOCK
    DINOBOT
    SHOCKWAVE
    JAZZ

From May 10 to May 28 (US time), every fan around the world can vote for the character to join Optimus, Megatron, Starscream and Bumblebee as the first five Hall Of Fame inductees.

Visit the Hasbro website for all the voting details, and at the bottom of that page is a link to the voting form.
(if you have problems accessing it because it can often redirect to the AUS website - click on visit official site, then click on Transformers News at the bottom of the page)

The important bit from the Hasbro website:

Hasbro will also induct five iconic characters into the TRANSFORMERS Hall of Fame. Heroic AUTOBOTS OPTIMUS PRIME and BUMBLEBEE, as well as evil DECEPTICONS MEGATRON and STARSCREAM, will be in the first class of robots honored with admission as chosen by Hasbro’s TRANSFORMERS Hall of Fame internal panel of judges.

In addition, TRANSFORMERS fans around the world may visit Transformers.com starting today and cast their online vote to select a fifth robot to join the inaugural class.

The ballot of finalists was created with input from several TRANSFORMERS collector fan media sites, which conducted their own online polling to ensure the ballot represented the robots that most resonate with fans. The ballot features SOUNDWAVE, GRIMLOCK, DINOBOT, SHOCKWAVE and JAZZ. Fans may cast votes daily from now until May 28. The winning robot will be revealed at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony at BotCon on June 26, 2010.

I had trouble chosing one between Soundwave and Grimlock, but then noticed on the screen after I voted - 'Voting is open until May 28th - you can only cast one vote per day' - which should mean I can vote for the other one another day.
(personally, I think it should be just one vote per 'person' (IP), as the result could be rigged by a committed campaign against the popular vote - like the 2007 Movie competition for a quote for Optimus to say in the Movie, or any number of internet voting campaigns)

I agree Griffin that it should be one vote per person, but I wouldn't be too surprised if some sort of 'shaping' is applied to the votes anyway.

All I can say is that my vote has been cast for the most 'Superior' bot out of all the nominees.

even if it was one vote per ip, im sure someone would find a way around it. there's always a crazy fanatic out there.

my vote would also be between soundwave and grimlock. but one of them will make it into the 2nd class of inductees anyway, so im not going to bother to vote.'

though im not sure what the point of a Transformers hall of fame would be for. will they make 1:1 scale statues? like the 1:1 gundam in japan. That would be sweet. Then they could make a beachcomber one in gold

Well, I voted for Dinobot (as my sig now attests), but I think I may throw a few votes Grimlock's way.
