    Do want!

That's an awesome job, all that bling works really well with it.
It almost looks like a lucky draw item.
    Soundwave superior. All others inferior!

    hey lcz128,

love what you've done - its made me want to try it too.

I just bought lockdown today for $12 and really did not like the paint. was thinking of painting it completely black and appying chrome to it.

about the mirror finish you linked at HLJ - its a sticky sheet that you peel and apply to the parts you want to be shiny?

also how many did you need to buy?

    thanks.

I stayed away from some of the Henkei stuff cos I disliked the chrome and generally, I dislike chrome (which explains me staying away from Z Gundam Hyaku Shiki 1/144 model kit cos the normal release is chromed) but the work you have done on Rockdown is awesome! Great stuff, especially his bot mode.

Oh damn - sorry i haven't ventured into here much at all of late! Sorry!

Yep it's that sticky sheets - http://www.hlj.com/product/HSGTF1 There it is! You really just need to use one sheet - there's heaps to use and you won't use all of it by the time you're done with your lockdown (:

    And thanks everyone else!

I haven't been TF customising in a while but will be back in some time

no problem, i had a look at loophole's thread and will probably follow his method with the chroming pen he used as it seems a lot easier for things that arent flat surfaces.

    loophole is awesome!
That said, chroming pen will NOT give you a mirror-reflective finish like these sheets will. Just a word of warning that the finish will be vastly different!

I realised that, how did you get the mirror finish applied to the engine so nicely?

That looks really good!! Was going to buy a clear animated Lockdown and trim his bumper, spoiler, wheel rims etc with gold paint but i suck at painting. Is gold trim the way to go and is it easy to work with.
