Yeah, I never fully understood that. It wasn't their fault; they were ambushed by Megatron and reprogrammed by the Robo-Smasher. I can understand Omega Supreme wanting to stop them from causing destruction, but feeling betrayed...

Since these are the same Constructicons who - in various cartoon episodes - were not only turned evil by Megatron, but also created Megatron and were allegedly built on Earth, I think there's a lot that doesn't make sense. Maybe Omega's memory is playing tricks on him when he tells Optimus that story - the Constructicons do, oddly, have Earth modes millions of years ago on Cybertron. Still, if we look at it empathetically, if my best friends were brainwashed into being my enemies, sure I might hate the person who brainwashed them, but I would also feel betrayed by my friends.

So did Starscream when he came to Earth with Skyfire on an exploration before the war broke out. The cartoon was terrible at continuity

...another reason why I prefer the G1 comics. Sure, they had their fair share of continuity issues too, but not nearly as bad as the cartoon.

Don't know about the comics. I generally go by the Cartoon-verse because thats what i know so i generally refer to that when talking TF history. From what i've read of the comics i really want to track them down.

If you want to do it on the cheap, buy the Titan reprints of the original Marvel series. Tracking down the whole series can be expensive, especially when you get to the point of buying issues 50 through to 80. The later issues are more expensive due to their limited print runs.

Do they come in volumes at all like Armada and The War Within did? I prefer them that way for some odd reason. I don't worry as much as keeping them mint.

Who has to tie all the ties that are now used in Transformers packaging?

Man that'd be a job I could get really tired of.

You can check them out here. I only have volume 14: End of the Road because it reprints the last 6 issues of the Marvel series and these are the hardest and most expensive to find individually. I have since found these issues however if I am in the mood for a quick read, I read the Titan book to keep my originals in mint condition
