I would have but because it is metal, I was concerned about it going in deeper and then requiring a tetanus shot. It's OK now (I think). It appears to have moved into my blood stream

my kid woke up at 3am crying about his toothache, his dentist appointment isnt until february.

they squeezed him in this morning and had to remove his tooth.

the whole morning has been unpleasant.
