Every once in a while I play those Arcade games on an emulator on my PC. Despite their age they are still very entertaining and fun.

That's the beauty of the PC, if you are savvy enough you can run anything you want on it with better graphics!

Have you tried the myriad of cheats/hints websites? Or, You're not one of those gamers who takes shortcuts?

I've never been much of a gamer. More of on-off when I'm board though I just started playing PC Marvel Ultimate Alliance last night and am pretty hooked... which could be bad... since exams are coming up and i'm many weeks behind uni thanks to job interviews.

    Just FF cheats btw, thanks.

I still buy second hand games every now and then for the Dreamcast as it's still one of my favourite systems despite it's age.
Dreamcast is one of my faves as well. Although, I have a lot of classic games for my Sega Saturn, which was a decent machine that had some sweet games (Puzzle fighter, Panzer Dragoon Saga for eg)

I spent so much money on Final Fight over the years its ridiculous. I even went to the extent of buying it on Mega CD to run on an emulator in my PSP so its in my pocket (although large pockets)

Yeh, how do you use the supers? Good game FF3, it adds to the gameplay a lot.

Has anyone ever looked into buying an arcade machine?

You sometimes hear of people owning pinball machines but I wonder how much they'd cost? (probably a goddamn fortune )

Last I heard (don't even remember where I heard it) It was around $5000 for a regular (joystick and buttons) arcade machine. Nothing fancy like Daytona racer.

You can always buy those big Arcade like Joysticks, download an Arcade emulator and play it on the PC but that takes away the experience.

Yeah, I know what you mean. You can't kick & shake it when you can't get past a certain level
