Love the intricate and clever transformation, but hate how top (back) heavy he is... the lack of balance whilst peaugh is trying to stand him is disconcerting.

This is a definite must buy for me and is really the only thing in the DOTM range that's of interest to me (besides Shockwave) - I just don't know if he's worth $100 though

I guess it's just peaugh didn't find the right combination of the various racheting joints on the lower body. I'm pretty confident that the heavy back kibble won't be a problem for such a leader class toy plus sentinel seems to have pretty solid heel pieces.

I couldn't agree more And his mech tech weapon is the only one so far that doesn't seem out of place (e.g. disproportionately gigantic) in robot mode.
Plus you get to store the sword and shield in vehicle mode rather than just stick them on top of the roof..

If Sentinel Prime is given a Black Fire Convoy style redeco it would be like the best thing ever. Love the cape style arrangement on the back- very regal stylings. Pleasingly complex too - especially how the front end comes apart and becomes his chest. Love it.

I'm kinda curious as to whether you could do a head swap with Leader Optimus Prime and make him a Movieverse Pyro. He's got the right alt-mode for it.
