If FansProject announces Powermaster armor for this mold that would most likely convince me to buy one

Unfortunately this still doesn't convince me that yet another '84' Prime is such a hot idea. Even with the hopeful armor, it would still be lame and relying on a 3rd party product to make it something special.

More details reach us via the wholesale route confirming some more details on the new MP-10 Convoy figure due this September

1) Confirmed G1 Convoy - not powermaster - comes with cab and trailer
2) Much more detail along the lines of THS-02 Convoy - many accessories
3) Approx one third shorter than the existing MP-01 Convoy figure

I've got to agree here, another prime is just a waste of plastic. they should be moving the masterpiece line forwards, a new character, Galvatron, a quality Ironhide, a fort max or other larger character would be great, even someone like Kup, Arcee or more dinobots would be better than another prime.

I was SO convinced it was going to be Galvatron. SO SO convinced! How could it NOT be after releasing Hot Rod/Rodimus? I don't care how crap the mold was, Rodimus was a good move. I'm not the biggest fan of rodimus as a character but I was ALL over the MP toy.

Yeah, I just got the MP-04 and then found out about this - not only is it a waste of plastic but metal too. Though TakTom probably did this to coincide with the release of DOTM and gives new fans the opputunity to buy a G1 Prime. Though I am dissapointed that we don't have a MP Galvatron yet, or a proper G1 Ultra Magnus

The existing Prime & Megs don't really fit in with the other MPs. I wouldn't be surprised if TT feels that there is a lot of future in the MP line, and thus needs to correct the first two molds to be proper frontmen for the line.

I still can't fathom what alt mode they'd give a Masterpiece Galvatron or Soundwave. It's not that I wouldn't want one; I just understand the challenge.

Why wouldn't they be anything other than a classic tape deck or futuristic canon respectively? The MP line (aside from the movieverse figures) has so far followed the actual G1 cartoon trend of bot and alt modes -- only more detailed and accurate (as much as possible)

I don't see why they would consider giving soundwave and galvatron different alt modes. And I sure as hell hope they dont either! Thats what classics, generations, united etc line is for!
