I just noticed a strange pricing irregularity at Target yesterday. The Walmart exclusives scanned in at $25 but the older deluxes (dropkick, bonecrusher) etc scanned in at $27. So is that in recognition that the movie line is reaching its trail end or it actually that the price of TFs are coming down?

It would be nice if the toys were coming down, but Target are still charging the same amount for Animated voyager as they are for Movie voyagers. TRU seem to be doing better with their cheap Ultras and cheaper Ani Voyagers

Knowing TRUs style, I must assume that these are the new RRPs. Perhaps a letter to Hasbro AU to ask about RRP is in order?

I think like the TRU exclusive Wingblade and Jetstorm, the store exclusive figures might have a wholesale price that is closer to what the current exchange rate suggests it should be. As opposed to the general release items, which would be priced by Hasbro at their usual higher rate.

Maybe they are reducing price because the US$ is worth less against the AU$ and they figured they would pass on the saving to us....

TRU had about 30 Deep space starscreams for $40.

Myer had about 8 of the micro IR remote control barricade cars, $20 each, never seen those before.
