And it wouldn't hurt to make ocean traversal a bit simpler and faster, and tighten up the end of game fetch quest while they're at it!

A new Zelda for Wii U... that's a long ways a way and again they're saying challenges the notion of what a Zelda game is.
Winwaker HD. Hmm, I enjoyed it, but don't think I'd bother paying for it again to play, no matter how funky the new dungeons.

A zelda that challenges the notion of what a zelda game is? New Zelda Bros? Zeldavania?

Bah! I see the wiiu only look interesting with Ninty games. Now where have I seen that boring pattern before? :/

On another nintendo note. I want to play Code of Princess, since it seems inspired by Guardian Heroes. But it appears to only be coming to EU via digital DL. Up yours Nintendo and your DL BS. Up Yours again for region coding the 3DS and cutting supply of the games. Looks like I'll just be sticking with my OoT and TF Prime as the only 3ds game I own for now.

I'm not going to bother buying any more virtual console games on any nintendo platform until they get a decent user interface. I should not have to pay over and over again to downlaod games on my 3DS, Wii or Wii U.

E3 mariokart sounds interesting, I hope it continues in the path MK3DS has started heading towards, and not the Wii version (which was IMO the weakest in the series)

WiiU still fails to have that killer game that makes it a must buy. I may start bying the nintendo games and wait for a price drop in 18-24 months to buy the console.
Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)

I'm definitely in the minority but i'm really not phased by console prices. To me it's just a fraction of what you're going to spend over the life of a console. Particularly with Nintendo machines, if you like that sort of thing it's all but guaranteed they'll release most of the games you want, as these announcements show. Sure, something like $599 US Dollars is ludicrous but Wii U is hardly breaking the bank even now. Having bought a 3DS at full price it's certainly better value hardware wise than that!

I'm insanely excited about the Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem game in development for WiiU that they also announced last night. High hopes!

I didn't know there was a region lock in 3DS. Must research more. I bought a 3DSXL pretty much on a whim last weekend trading in my old DS and a bunch of games I was done with. But apart from New Mario Bros 2 and Pokemon XY there's not many 3DS games in the system I'm after at this stage. Just wanted to upgrade my hardware while I could still get some dollars for the old system.

On the plus side though, the 3ds still plays any region DS games. Which is what annoys me even more, they were fine with it before, why make the change and bugger it up now? RRRRAAAAAAARGH!!!!!

Would you rather have a better kill/death ratio or better win/loss ratio?

The team I was on last night won 7 out of 8 matches but for me they were kind of pyrrhic victories......

For matchmaking games, I'd rather have a better K/D. When you get dropped into a random team, you can't really do anything about their skill levels, but your K/D reflects your individual skill whether your team wins or loses.

Massive news from Nintendo. The next Zelda, the next 3D Mario, Yoshi game, Smash Bros, game from Monolith, etc, but probably the one i'm most excited about is Zelda Wind Waker HD. This means we could see Gamecube games in HD showing up on the virtual console. Imagine Mario Sunshine, Wave Race Blue Storm, Rogue Squadron 2 & 3, Eternal Darkness and all the other gems all playable in HD and on the GamePad. I can't wait. The Wii U is only getting bigger and better.

I don't want to sound like a negative nelly, but you do realise you are getting excited about old games, not actual wiiU games right?

I'm getting tired of seeing so much new about new versions of old games. Where are the NEW games??

Sequels, sequels and updated old stuff. Played it all before.
