I DO NOT want yellow eyes. I want the cartoon-accurate visor.

Maybe the old switcheroo like on Grimlock would be there.

Please not, I am on an information blackout in regards to Soundwave until I receive mine. so , I probably shouldn't look at this thread

That would involve a mould change which I doubt they would do. It's more than likely that it will come with a yellow visor IMO.

I thought they weren't for cartoon accuracy with most releases?
I can't see it happening really but each to their own, I guess.

Hasbro's MP's have been very geared towards toy-accuracy rather than cartoon accuracy but I believe they will follow cartoon accuracy for the optics like they have done with all(?) their MP releases thus far.

Well considering Hasbro's history with their MP releases, they have changed nearly every MP release they have put out (not 100% sure if they changed anything on Skywarp)

So if you think the Takara version is perfect, best to save for that because obviously while nothing can be confirmed until we actually see pictures, the odds are that something will be changed. Best to prepare for it.

I think they might do a slightly more vibrant shade of blue. Maybe not the visor but I can definitely see a general colour change.

Colours on Skywarp were slightly different, but noticeable when next to each other.

The purple plastic parts are darker on the JP version, and it has a couple silver paint apps on the arms. The Hasbro version has red paint on the air intakes beside the robot head, to match the Gen1 toy.
The wing stripes are different - two purple stripes on the Hasbr version, but only one on the JP version.
The most noticeable difference though is in Jet mode, with the tail fins being purple plastic with the Hasbro version, while the JP version has black plastic.
At least the two Thundercrackers and white Starscreams were different moulds, to distinguish between the Hasbro and JP versions.
