    I was thinking it would be just a standard Anime-ish cover.

    I'm actually digging the Genndy Tartakovsky style there. If you squint it's almost Transformers: Animated.

    Eewww... no thanks. Guido Guidi's much better at creating retro-80s style TF comic art.

    I don't mind it. The point of it is to evoke the animation styles not the comic styles. Yes it's very Samurai Jack but it's also very GoBots too

    I was actually hoping it was going to be an animated style cover. Even squinting his is giving me a Samurai Jack or clone wars feel. Not a bad design aesthetic, just disappointing after what I was expecting in my mind.
