Nice idea. I just don't know why hasbro HOC should have takara stamp on them and they're all takara china too.

It costs money to modify moulds, so if it isn't anything significant, it could just be left to be the same.
Besides, Hasbro toys will often have Takara on them, because they design the toys... Hasbro just exclusively owns the Brand name and concept (so they have their stamp on the boxes, but not necessarily on the toys, as they don't exclusively own the toy designs).

then they're just the same HOC = SCF? jus thought there were significant/obvious differences like thundercracker has a different colour canopy.

The moulds are the same. The colours of the plastics and paints are different.
As noted by others, the Hasbro ones are translucent plastic that is fully painted (except the eyes, so that you get the light-piping effect), while the JP ones are solid-coloured plastic with some paint apps.

FunPub over-estimate their shipping, and check how much they charged... but will only chase up the buyer if it is under-estimated (they never chase up the buyer to give them a refund).

It's in the Checklist... which every dedicated fan should have had bookmarked some time ago.

My untrained eye can't tell the difference.

The Hasbro ones are glossier because of the paint.

The texture is also different, because it's a fairly thick paint Hasbro used.

And look at the top of the head. If there's a square unpainted, that's for the light-piping, so it's HOC.
Looking To Buy Either Siege Or Earthrise Ratchet, and Buzzworthy SS86 ER Cliffjumper.
