Acid Storm is in at Garden City. Not sure if they have any that were unreserved... or how many they got in. (I had a wake-up call from them, so was too sleepy to ask any questions)

I dont really understand the logic of having so little in stock in a Brisbane metro area compare to the NSW and VIC ones.

MP Soundwave is in Townsville TRU, no Acid Storm yet, due in a weeks time apparently.

In at Garden City when they opened, to pick up Acidstorm. They had two on the shelf, if anyone else was wanting one.
They said they got in 3 or 4 boxes, so either 6 or 8 in total.

Pretty much as I expected - less figures per store than Soundwave, but even less demand, which left a couple unreserved.



The other day when I picked up Soundwave - when I said my name, the guy got it from the office and just handed it to me and walked off... leaving me with a Soundwave toy AFTER the row of registers and near the exit. (only one other staff member was in eye-sight, and she was busy serving a customer at the Register)
I guess if I walked off with it and they realised later that it wasn't paid for, they could eventually track me down with my reservation details... but damn, that's pretty dumb of them to not check if I still had to pay for it and then lead me to a register to make sure I did.
(it makes me wonder if any of the other 9 Soundwaves went "walking" if they did that with everyone)

I really didn't believe it till I saw it.

They are in an end cap display in the isle between toys and the DVDs , stacks for $5. Likewise Star Wars Vintage for $5. Must be a special Hasbro deal.

Anyone know if there's any Big W's with Metroplex in stock down at the south side? I was at Garbo and apparently both Garbo and Carindale Big W will NOT have any stock for the promotion despite having 10 units registered in their systems. Apparently their warehouse stuffed up the shipment. Pretty disappointing if you ask me =/

Take the BigW catalogue to TRU Garden City - they still had a Metroplex yesterday, and they will/should price match a current catalogue.
