Yeah, I prefer Piranacon.
The Club exclusives are garish as hell, I call them them Clowncons.
Since its clear that the mold is nice and healthy, Why can't they release them for Universe in proper colors or get Takara to do a reissue?

Yeah, I've been petrified of buying anything vintage that might be reissued. Some collectors insist on the original, but I personally prefer a reissue for its newness. Hold out if you can.

I think the main reason the TFCC has them is because no store in the USA wanted them as an exclusive...
Don't know if the colours had been decided then/were a reason why no stores wanted them...

It seems that they were intended for the original Universe and their themed colors look evoke that.
The first Universe line was so garish and awful when it comes to many repaints that even though they had some great molds, they were ruined by the paint schemes.
If the US stores won't have them, then let's hope Takara Tomy releases them as Encore sometime in the near future unless the mold is exclusively in the hands of Hasbro.

The average Ebay price is around $200-$250. Some people over price it but that is the general going price.
