    whoa....thats.....not good.

They only hope for Kronos is to take apart, get a good custom guy, have custom guy make repairs, and put it all back to togther

Problem is, it looks so damn good and i really want a skyfire of that size

lol.. yeah, well it is a lot of money to me. I've asked for a refund, I don't know how easy it will be to get one out of them. But they were talking about after sales where they will send out spare parts. But as I told them, it won't be as simple as that. There will have to be small modifications on the new parts, so that new screws may go in and you can tighten those yukky gaps up for e.g. and what ever else they need to fix. I also sent them some photos of some common faults. They can't just send out the same generic parts because it won't fix the actual problem, just replace it with a newer version of the problem... So, yes they are now seeking info on the new parts and will get back to me asap. I'll keep you guys posted for those who may already have issues with their Kronos that they purchased from elsewhere. Hopefully it will come as some use them.

It's doable dude... but it'll need a lot of work to clean up the poorly aligned bits and fix the errors.
The question is, is it worth the money and time?
This isn't a cheap toy to get and getting it so flawed from the start is just bad.

Get out of it while you can.
Unless you're able to sell this at half the price with no returns, I don't think anyone would grab this unfortunate mess.

Had been thinking of u man when I was entertaining this

But your right. Is it worth the time and money?

I was very much looking forward to a skyfire of this scale. I know fanstoys have one in development but was unsure of scale and height of that

Cognitive dissonance on this is killing me

I know but I'm just waiting for them to respond. You never know, something good may come good of it. Everyone deserves a fair go when they stuff up... I stuff up all the time lol ..... I put it back in their shoes and said - it's the same as you bought a brand new washing machine and when you set it up it was broke. So you call the store and the say 'Yes we can send you the parts, but you have to fix it yourself.' I said now I know you would be pissed off about that for obvious reasons but if you've never repaired one before, you wouldn't know what to do. We don't spend $200 so you can repair a broken toy, because we're not toy repairers... We're collectors and geeks... That's your job the first time around.

As grateful as I am to get out of this when I did, I'm very sorry to hear you guys having trouble with this. It's a pity b/c there are pics of him that look good but clearly it's when you get into the detail the toy fails.

Guess that anonymous source on the TFW boards was right after all.

Probably one of the most frustrating things in this world is admitting that Optibotimus was right... I was sooooo hoping to rub it in his face. UGH.

I don't like him but I'm very thankful now. That would've been $200+ shipped. A lot of quality toy money there.
