The more I look at this, the more I like it. Shame it was posed by a total f-tard.

It's likely to be a prototype that is glued together from pre-production parts, so posing is impossible.

Toyfairs are promoting advance products, so often prototypes will be on display of items that are more than three months away.
Metroplex in 2013 was a prototype that was so fragile, Hasbro America couldn't risk sending it here to the Australian Toyfair (so they had to use a full-size cardboard cut-out.
Devastator in 2009 was also a fragile prototype that came apart during the Australian Toyfair (and glued back together).

I don't care so much about the price just as long as it's not yet another TRU exclusive, seeing as how my home state is completely and utterly devoid of a single TRU store

Most things I've seen recently that are stated as a TRU Exlusive refer to TRU America ONLY. Almost all the TRU US only releases I've seen shelf warming at Myer

I think this figure is going to be awesome! Can't wait to get more info from Toy Fair. Really looking forward to seeing the individual bot modes.

For me, it looks okay from these pics, I cannot say I have the same wow factor as Metroplex Titans.

There are no rubber wheels and I don't expect it either.

Probably because it was a relative surprise given that H/TT had not released anything (new) close to this size in yonks and it didn't really line up too well in timing with the FoC game which is was the most recent thing where Metroplex was heavily featured (and borrows all its sounds from).

With Devy we've had the combiner wars toyline act as a lead up to him.

Anyway still hope this guy gets a wide release. We haven't seen new constructions in earnest for a very long time now.
