Wonder how the mold is holding up. I was a bit dissapointed with the quality of Fort Max however I believe this guy hasn't been reissued/retooled anywhere near as many times?

A mirrored image can be found here if anyone is having trouble tracking it down.

I'm rather impressed to see that it is the complete Gen1 version with all its accessories... after it was neutered for the JP Beast Wars toyline.

I'm getting tempted to collect all of these reissues just for the packaging... with all the nice artwork they've commissioned for them. (which we've seen on the Japanese Combiner box too)

If they can dig up these old moulds (original Gen1 Trypticon and Fort Max), I really hope they have more of the Japanese Gen1 toys on their release schedule.

I just read a report that the toy is selling in the Philippines for the equivalent of US$200 (9000PHP); so this doesn't bode well for the AU RRP.

$200 is about how much I paid for Encore Metroplex, but that was when the Global Financial Crisis sent the value of the AUD crashing down against the JPY. (-_-)

The thing I don't get about RK is that it appears cheaper to ship Trypticon to the States or UK than what it is to ship to AU... Geez, that's logistics for you...

The record so far is $300, from the latest two big MP toys... but there has to be a point at which it makes no sense charging so much for a "mere toy".
