Just received a call from Big W Waverly Gardens (no devy not in stock yet ). The people who put their names down for him are getting added in to the system, apparently to secure stock for that person...

well thats a good sign at least the names are being used for it.
i put my name down at my local one and im hoping they somehow ring me up with some good news that they are putting me in the system cause im right now sick and tired of Aus retailers and their lack of communication and their rudeness to people who just want to know if they are in stock or not.
I dont care if you get 20 something calls asking about the same thing, you work in retail "deal with it"
Ive lost all remorse for everyone right now.

Hang in there Iceman, when they called they said that my name was being added as a lay-by....(it didn't fill me with optimism and it is possible they will say that I will be getting devy in the november stock ) I was the third person on the list btw and until VIC starts seeing stock the only thing I am staying positive for is that the catalogue states "first at Big W", so possible that Target/Kmart/Myer may also stock it in the future.... here's hoping it's Metroplex all over again....and not MP Soundwave

Waverley garden just called to say stock have arrived and I can pick up today or tomorrow.... I'm assuming doncaster will be having their stock too.

still pissed at how my store still hasnt got it in yet.....
Im hoping the guys at doncaster get theirs cause i heard alot are going to doncaster store for their one.

Doncaster started with the sold out spiel tonight, then actually went to find an answer when I said they never had stock when the sale started, so they couldn't be out.

But the answer was "not arrived yet, maybe next week coz it's still in transit."

No offer of name for lay-bys, but not surprising seeming they don't have a layby department
