why would you want it fail? 21R was never meant to be Cliffjumper -he's a Porsche.
If TT really wanted to go the route of cheap repaints, they would have rebranded and promoted Tiger Track as Sunstreaker.

They always do cheap repaints, its their business strategy. But good point CJ is actually a Porsche forgot about that. I dont like it because its just lazy. BB wasnt imo worthy of the price tag to begin with. The only repaint i've bought is mp 12g which is not really a repaint but thats the level of accessories i expect to get for me to buy the same figure again.

I still dont understand why we never got sunstreaker but we got tiger track.
It would have taken minimal effort to change and we would have got another actual g1 figure.

Sunstreaker is a completely different toy to Sideswipe. No amount of retooling would be sufficient to turn one into the other.

I don't think these more obscure characters hinders the release of new MP moulds. TT are pumping them out faster than ever.


A bit off topic, but I've been acquiring the different repaints of G1 cabs of Optimus Prime / Ultra Magnus. There's room in my collection for more repaints of this mould.

I love how some of us are getting cranky over Tak/Toms regular recolouring/tooling of moulds, this method of toy selling has been happening since G1 Transformers were first unleashed on our innocent eyes in 1984, so why should we be surprised when they do it in the not so innocent 2010's

Yeah would have been nice to do Glyph or Bugbite first, then Red later on.

I think red suits the mould, I'm most likely not going to get it, but if I were a car fan that was particularly into VW beetles I'd be pretty excited about this.
I can see other potential repaint colours looking very nice as well. Certain countries around the world that recieved G1 bee in these different colours will probably be pretty excited about this and other potential variations. It's a pretty smart move on Takara's part I think.
