Think it's the first time I've actually seen him use his Ionizer sword to send out electrical charges in any media (unless he did it in an old Marvel comic that I've never read).

Pretty certain that in his debut comic issue he uses his sword in such a way, or at least it's all it up with energy.

Thought it might be the case. Like I had never seen Dirge use his 'fear' engines until I read an old comic and saw him freak out Silverbolt

The US comics were good for using the abilities of the toys and weapons - at least partly because the same guy wrote both the comics and the toy's tech specs. Sometimes it meant the dialogue was a bit on the nose though. By memory the Stunticon's first appearance had a share of this, Dead End using his compressor-air gun definitely happened.

I saw the newest clip with Bumblebee and Grimlock talking and they both sound exactly like they did in G1 - freaking loving it!

Even though it was the same voice actor, Big Grim sounded a bit different in FOC to me. They even did a half decent job getting a new voice actor for Wheeljack for this game, its just Sideswipe that sounds a bit off.

Yep - the G1ness has got me hooked - less than a month to go!
