Different shipping routes, different priorities, different stocking staff, different amounts of shelf room.

yeap...(going out of the actual topic) i actually was curious about the Marvel Transformers appearing at Target last week and went to 3 Targets but none of them had it. I finally made an effort to call one of these 3 Targets and ask about them. The staff said that they have been ordered and will be on the shelves in 2 weeks (meaning it's after the sales).

so like jay said... Different delivery timings, different store priorities, different stocking staff and probably different stock warehousing...

Also, some shops have different tiers. So like the higher priority shops, like say the city one, will get stock before other lesser stores.

I saw 2 Lugnuts at Target, Elizabeth today but there were no Grimlocks left. Someone obviously beat me to him.

just received an sms from JuzMel that she spotted 6 Rollout Primes at their original retail price of $79.99 (jay, i figure that it should have 9 cents more, not $79.90 ... ) making it $71.99 10% at LAST WEEK sale price

Hence, a Supreme (Ultimate figure like Movie Bumblebee) figure is considered to be rather cheap.... Would it be a shelf-warmer then? Will parents will be crazy over this for kids as their Christmas gift?? How far would the price drop to if there's a 20% - 30% sale???

Now that makes mathematical sense. Interesting that they're cheaper than Leaders. Maybe Hasbro has reduced the Leader wholesale price and Retail just isn't passing it on. Or they are in the form of sales.

Yeah there were 6 of the Roll-Out Primes at the Target I went. I was thinking maybe they had wrong pricing on them too, Prime is much larger compared to UM, Megs or Bulky and yup it scanned at $79.99. Was really surprised that a supreme size is cheaper than a leader size? I hid the one with the nicest paint job somewhere so I can go back and grab it next week after pay. Hope the price doesn't change then or even better, Target decides to put it on its special Toy Sale starting next week.

No new Deluxes at Target, but Kmart had Swoop and Sentinal Prime of which I grabbed Swoop. A nice sales person I asked actually went behind to check for if there were more deluxes in the store, but he came back with wave 1 figures instead. Might check back again next week.
