Well I guess that makes sense... they are selling the heads from the Hasbro Titanmasters packs with Hasbro Legends toys, because the partner vehicles/beasts from those Titanmaster packs were being sold with Hasbro Deluxes.
I was wondering what they were going to do with the leftover heads.

While I have been sticking to Takara for Masterpiece and Combiners, I'm wondering if it's worth the premium for the Takara Fort Max over the Hasbro version? I got the Hasbro version of Metroplex in Big W for only $99 on sale leading into Christmas when it was released, whereas PC has Takara Fort Max up for $240.

well that 99 sale was a lucky sell thou when Big W did it. From the looks of Big w atm with their transformers stock, don't expect that to happen again.

    So that leaves Target/Kmart/TRU/Myers.

Iirc target was 149 or 129 for metroplex and TRU was 199.

I dont' see fort max being 149 or even 129 at any stage in aus, probably closer to devastator price of 160/199

I haven't really been keeping up with the Titan wars stuff, is the only difference between Takara and Hasbro Fort Max to be that Takara comes with a sword?
Like, a sword is nice, but I don't know if it's $40+ extra nice, you know?

We don't know what other difference. Only the silhouette has been seen (which makes people guess there's a sword). Best guess is the colours will be more Headmasters anime accurate.

The closest price comparison we have was when Toy Dojo accidentally put up the listing for Hasbro Fort Max with an RRP of US$150.
