Just listening to the Giant Beastcast. They said there is no VC on the Switch at launch, so the Switch is 100% a Zelda BotW machine at launch from the sounds of it.

50% Zelda, 40% Bomberman and 10% Snipperclips machine.

Trying to figure out if it's worth it, as what should be like a $550 purchase comes closer to $750 when you have to buy extra shit just to use it.

VR seems too expensive in general given the cost of entry vs games available. I think it's really cool, but I won't be buying an Oculus or Steam VR headset until the cost of headsets comes down and the number of games that are not glorified demos comes up.

I went to play Halo Wars 2 Blitz Mode, it's already impossible to find a match. I know every dev hopes they will make the next CoD, but really it's probably just a waste of time and money doing anything beyond basic multiplayer.

Cool but too expensive and has fallen a bit behind the curve.

I am personally for the HTC Vive but that is also too expensive.

In regards to VC, there will be a VC service for sure, I just hope that they are sensible about it and that the delay is due to them working stuff out to be fair to previous game buyers.

Sunk a few hours into Horizon Zero Dawn last night. Really liking it so far.

If I had a 4K TV it would look brilliant! I'd even settle for a 1080p TV

Got my Switch. Was 100% set up by 12:25, but that includes me fumbling with my multiple Nintendo account passwords. Downloading Zelda, hope it will be down by the time I'm up in the morning.

Going by the huge number of 100/100's Zelda is getting on Metacritic it's going to be amazing.

Got my Switch too, BigW Zelda bundle for $519. I've plugged it up at work to download the updates so I'll be good to go when I get home.

90% downloaded so far. I wonder if Nintendo's Switch eshop servers are just slow in general or are they getting slammed by everyone trying to download Zelda.

currently playing through Shadowrun Returns. Enjoying it so far, in some ways it's a bit basic compared to some of the other RPGs I've been playing but its nice. Just doing the basic campaign at the moment, I think I have the Dragonfall pack but not Hong Kong.
