for all those who are waiting of FT- Grinder, i just got an email from Mohock (toy shop in NZ) that stock will arrive in 2 weeks time.

This could be used as an indicator to real shipping times since we are on the same side of the planet.

Well put mate, don't feel too bad I too am feeling the same way. Collecting Transformers should be an easy peaceful experience to take you away from the day to day grind. Rather this situation with PC has people feeling sick with anxiety not because they'll miss out on their figs but rather because no one likes losing money when you work so hard for it.

especially when you have pre paid figs for a year which you could have earned interest in your banks rather than reward points which are useless if orders are not fulfilled.

This is one reason why I never liked the updates page, and I knew it would cause more damage than help because of unreliable information even if is not PC's fault. It just put pressure on the company that they have given false information and will be attacked upon.

I am now at the stage where I lost interests in updates. I just want to hear notifications from people. I have gone past "I got a reply for March" as it only points to Orders in May or June which was pretty much what they stated in Feb and March. If information on updates are useless, then is equals to no communications as it is false communication < people lost your trust and hope. I rather hear the sad truth, than being lead on.

we have hired new department that have been working to response to all enquiry and not ignore anyone, We can assure you a reply is forthcoming shortly.

I think the main issue is that we no longer have cheaper options now because we pre-ordered. We are now cornered to pay more or not available anymore.

Yep, if push comes to shove and we really want the things we ordered in some cases to find these items elsewhere will cost most of us at least $100 extra per item. If PC have been having supplier issues they should have informed the customers right away and gave us the option of either waiting to see what would happen or a full refund immediately. As it stands because PC hasnt been transparent they have forced upon us limited options for getting those figures if we have indeed missed them.

Without going in to too much detail, this situation (the lack of communication, feeling like I'm being ripped off, etc) has caused a flare-up in anxiety, which to be honest is not why I collect Transformers

Don't worry about it too much, I can understand how and why this is affecting you the way it is, suffice to say I wouldn't fault anyone from never shopping with PC again after all this.

Also an update (after nearly 6 weeks) from cs, it's very generic for the most part but it does indicate that the suppliers are to blame for all these delays (though how well I trust that answer is hard to measure).
All I can really add to the discussion (since we already "know" that Inferno, Grapple, etc etc etc etc are all coming "in may") is that PlanetX Genesis is currently in limbo (oh yay, a refund and having to pay $200 more? how fun), but I should have an answer for that "in a week"

I deal with weallen from time to time great guy do deal with. Mohock used to get their stuff about 1-2 months after pc but now by the looks of it they are getting it before i.e mp-11sw. Lets hope grinder is on his way as I pre ordered this 14 months ago.

It's a single edged sword. You'll either get what you paid for and saved some cash, or you'll end up buying elsewhere after release and and pay even more again because you missed the preorder 20% - 30% discounts that the likes of ami and hlj have on takara products and having to pay rrp which can add up to a substantial amount over the discounted price.

If saving $ is that important, at the very least when it comes to official product, one should be placing a preorder at ami or hlj (no cash upfront) aswell as pc (gimme your money now). You'll get your item in good time from Japan and get caught up in the moment with other collectors, and if and when pc order is fulfilled, you can easily sell it for what you paid from ami/hlj and saved $ without being left behind the rest of the world. I wouldn't recommend that though because i feel at this point in time pc is a risk and doesn't deserve a look in after all this bs.

Im not worried about missing out on figures, my concern like many is what happens to my money if they don't turn up? How long should i wait? When my preorders were made i had had no problems with PC and always got my stuff relatively early even though others were having problems. Now i am not as confident. I am not super worried as MP Grapple could still turn up this month but i am not confident in PC going forward. I think i will pay the extra for better service. I would only have myself to blame if i continue ordering more items when my other items are overdue.

Well I was waiting for Megatronia and the NBN to arrive in April......and I got the NBN first

For what it is worth, pc should start showing pictures when stock arrives, I know a few dealers who does this to show proof they are not being doggy about their items.
