Transformers questions by newbies, and not-so-newbies

Unlike the US, Australia is not getting full season boxsets. Instead, we're getting individual "volumes" with 3 - 4 episodes on each.

So from that can I assume it's worth buying the boxset from the US now as it wont come out in Oz for a long, long time?
