MP39 is... Sunstreaker!

Just preordered mine at Oh My Primus ($SGD 139). Including shipping it worked out around $150 which is around the middle tier in terms of pricing methinks. But I only have to put down a $20 deposit which is a big plus for me.

I think that the depth of the front-to-back (chest-to-backpack) is going to be a point of criticism when collectors get it in-hand, as 2D photos hide that depth a little... and Sideswipe didn't have a backpack or a fake chest - both of which are adding to the bulk of Sunstreaker.

Yeah, but MP Lambor was never designed to be so slavishly cartoon-accurate. He has a massively bulked out chest compared to the cartoon design. Having all these cheats (and I suspect that this is what's contributed to boosting the cost of the toy) is what we pay to have such high level screen-likeness.

Odd, I see an indent for the lambo-badge but nothing is on it, and what's the deal with the spoiler, is it a sticker, because there...doesn't seem to be another one nearby.

They shown the other accessories and yet no yellow spoiler.

That's what worries me. The support struts are also chromed, and there are no visible seams or edges for stickers.

I don't think that's an excuse as pretty much every MP car released since Bumblebee has pushed the price up, while meanwhile basic toys are looking cheaper and cheaper made.

Alas it appears to be the time we live in.

I'm just glad to see pics with Sunstreaker having a silver spoiler surface.

We've seen the yellow spoiler in the magazine promo shots, and the chrome ver is not a 'legit' Lamborghini Countach color.

What we're looking at in those high-res pics is a prototype and possible test-shot sample. Thus the painted surfaces instead of yellow plastic. It's even a bit sloppy looking at the underarm areas. They possibly didn't have a Lamborghini decal ready.

Unless it's changed recently, you can pay upfront or upon release. Postage calculated on release or pickup from western Sydney.

A new pic from @transchange on twitter ... seems to suggest it's chrome all the way. G1 box art pose represent! Fake chest windows seem darker in this one too.
