    I've finally finished Studio Series Bumblebee in bot mode.



    Had to throw in Sam Witwicky, although he's quite out of scale with these small deluxes.

    Thanks, I used Humbrol enamels, there is a colour conveniently named "rust". For the centre of rust spots I mixed in the rust colour, some dark grey and some black.

    I also thinned the paints to help them blend into the underlying colours. I found that the best effect came from sponging on some thinned black and smearing it before adding the rust layers.
