And what is with all of the double-bundle listings on Amazon Australia lately? I noticed a few weeks ago that they put up about 20 listings of pairs of toys, but none appeared to be any cheaper than buying both toys separately. The reason for it doesn't seem to be obvious to me, as it doesn't offer anything new or cheaper.... and with all of the purchasing suggestions each product page has, you can already be encouraged to buy more than you had originally searched for.

Quite the sale price. And right next to it I see Scorponok for $489 (!!) and Beast Megs for $127, so it is better than at least one leader class toy.

I believe the double listings are simply a way to help shift stock. It removes a step or two in the chain of ordering, and goes straight to two items moving. And I presume the pairings will be based on sales data, so make some kind of sense somewhere.
